● Investigators are granted access to Yamagata Study data and/or biospecimens after approval of the Yamagata University Institute of Well-Being Cohort Planning and Management Committee and the Institute's Governing Council.
● Currently only citizens of Japan who fulfill the requirements of conducting research projects are eligible to apply for the Yamagata Study data and/or biospecimens.
● The investigator is required to submit a Project Protocol (Research question, Aim, Background, Design and analytical plan) for review by the Yamagata University Institute of Well-Being Cohort Planning and Management Committee and the Institute's Governing Council.
● Requests can be made by contacting the Yamagata University Institute of Well-Being (Research Support Section, School of Medicine:yu-ikekenkyu@jm.kj.yamagata-u.ac.jp) or investigators in the Yamagata University Institute of Well-Being .
● After approval is obtained from the Yamagata University Institute of Well-Being Cohort Planning and Management Committee and the Institute's Governing Council, the investigator is required to obtain additional approval for the protocol under which the data and/or biospecimens are to be used from the Ethical Review Committee of Yamagata University Faculty of Medicine.
